2018 Alcohol and Other Drug Excellence Awards.

Organisations have today been awarded for their work with communities across Western Australia, at the 2018 Alcohol and Other Drug Excellence Awards.

The awards recognise service providers that are helping to reduce demand and harm associated with alcohol and other drugs and improve the lives of the many Western Australians who are affected.

The awards were each judged by a panel comprising of government and non-government experts in the sector. The winners are listed below.

Young People: The Drug and Alcohol Youth Service (DAYS) - Thriving DAYS Program
Research into practice: Palmerston Association - Methamphetamine Strategy
Consumer Participation: Cyrenian House - Peer Support Plus Project
